Hello everyone! Welcome! I created a Facebook group for my friends, after starting the keto diet. It is called Keto Kayte. Please join us there, if you haven’t already done so! The more the merrier! I have just recently made it public, so anyone can automatically join! You can ask questions, share recipes, and encourage each other throughout the journey! In addition to the Facebook group, I needed an organized place to show off all my favorite keto foods. Individual posts get lost sometimes, and you have to use the search tools sometimes to find things that were posted several weeks ago, etc. So this website will hopefully be very clear, especially for the beginners who don’t really know where to start, and the food/items will be much easier to find. What is even cooler is that all of the items can be bought on Amazon and delivered right to your door, the next day even, if you are a primer like me. You know you’re addicted to Amazon shopping when your dogs don’t bark at the Amazon delivery guy anymore because they know him so well, even through your closed front door, LOL!

Keto was my very first diet, that I started almost three years ago, at the age of 36. I had gained over 30 pounds after being treated for breast cancer, which included several surgeries, chemotherapy, and both of my ovaries being removed. The lack of estrogen made me gain weight so quickly. Fortunately, I lost the excess weight pretty quickly, too, after beginning keto, and even better, I found myself feeling SO MUCH BETTER while on the diet. No sugar highs or sugar lows, more energy, and being satisfied for longer amounts of time without craving snacks constantly. This diet may not be for everyone, but it definitely is for me, and so many others! And unlike other popular diets from the past, this diet is a healthy one, and proven to help people suffering from diabetes, epilepsy, and many other conditions. But of course, as a nurse, I recommend that you speak with your doctor about the keto diet if you have any concerns. You may also see articles posted in my group, depicting keto’s health benefits, but this shouldn’t be considered medical advice. If you would like my opinion on something though, please don’t hesitate to ask! And feel free to invite all of your friends, too! The more we spread the word about this amazing FREE diet, the better, I say! No more paying hundreds of dollars per month for a diet program that you become dependent upon. Keto is all about making good choices for yourself, with each and every meal you consume. And if you stick with it, you will see those results! So many lives are being changed by this epic diet. So are you ready to join in on the fun?
